DAVID MARCUS was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved at an early age to Oakland, California. A guitarist since age 6, David has been a seminal innovator of technologies for visual and sonic media in Hollywood. As an inventor and architect of systems and methods for creative workflows, David has been at the forefront of emerging technology and a conceptual designer of business models for its applications. As a recognized industry leading edge innovator, business maven and audio engineer, David has decades of experience in post production sound, re-recording and music mixing. As founder of the Aristocats, David has reinvented himself as a full time guitarist, mentor and teacher. Performing at legendary venues such as the Village Vanguard, David has worked with Cedar Walton, David Williams, Chuck Manning, Joel Taylor, Nokie Edwards, Sal Marquez, Del Casher, Roger Kellaway, Clarence Johnston, Joe Farnsworth, Marcel Ivery and Art Hillary among many other music notables.
ERIC SITTNER originally hails from Chicago, and has lived in Los Angeles for the last 16 years. He has traveled around the world and played with numerous artists locally and abroad. He is equally adept at both upright and electric bass, dedicated to taking great care and consideration to the musical moment with each note he plays. He currently tours with vocalist Patti Austin, and plays with composer/jazz pianist Vardan Ovsepian and his jazz chamber ensemble, and many other amazing musicians around the LA area.
CAREY FRANK,
Originally from South Florida, Carey is now living in Los Angeles, CA. He is fortunate to be an active musician, working as a soloist and with various other musicians, genres, and groups. He has worked with the likes of Tedeschi Trucks Band (Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks), Michael Bublé, Veronica Swift, Mike Garson, Orianthi, Hot Tuna, The Wood Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Jane Monheit, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Joan Jett, Bruce Springsteen, Social Distortion, Gavin DeGraw, Bob Mintzer, Paris Jackson, John Stamos, Scary Pockets, Vanessa Amorosi, Seasick Steve, and Luke Spiller (The Struts).Carey received his Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Central Florida and later received his Masters of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of Southern California, studying with Russell Ferrente (Yellowjackets), Alan Pasqua, Bob Mintzer, and Peter Erskine.
PAUL KREBICH, a Los Angeles native got his first major jazz gig with Carmen McRae. He toured the United States and Japan with her including a concert at Carnegie Hall. Upon his return to Los Angeles, at a friend's coaxing, Paul went to a "cattle call" audition for the Ray Charles Band. Hired on the spot, Paul traveled with the band internationally for four years. Paul has been a first call drummer for many touring artists including Mose Allison, Red Rodney, The Woody Herman Band, Anita O'Day, Scott Hamilton, Joe Pass, Charles Brown, Rosemary Clooney, Lee Konitz, and others. Paul's recording credits include sessions with Bill Perkins, Dianne Reeves, Bob Cooper, Conte Candoli, Charlie Shoemake, Herb Geller, Cedar Walton, John Hendricks, James Moody, Kenny Burrell, Ray Charles, Gerald Wiggins, Andy Simpkins, Terry Gibbs, Hod O'Brien, Claude Williamson, and Frank Strazerri. In 1995 Paul joined the Gene Harris Quarg with Ernie Watts, Red Holloway and Jack McDuff.
